In conjunction with his upcoming appearance as a featured artist at Red Bull's Bass Camp Bonnaroo, Baltimore's own king of club Mighty Mark is dropping his latest single Dumb Love. A collaboration with artists AGH (Adam Holofcener) and Hello Rello, Dumb Love combines Baltimore Club, R&B, and Soul for the perfect summer anthem. Red Bull Music Academy teams up with Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival for the fourth consecutive year to host a Bass Camp.The special campground on site features a permanent recording studio and living spaces, where 20 hand-selected musicians from around the country will collaborate and create new music by day and perform on Bonnaroo stages at night.
Participating musicians include Los Angeles-bred producer and dancer AmaniWashington; Baltimore Club Music pioneer Mighty Mark;New Jersey-born club/noise artist DJ Haram; and Syk Sense, the Nashville-based hip-hop producer who’s worked with Travis Scott, Drake, and more.
The participants will learn from and work with internationally recognized artists who will give talks about their approach, inspirations, and experiences. Studio mentors include Southern hip-hop icon Bun B, Organized Noize member and hip-hop and R&B innovator Rico Wade, and groundbreaking producer and sound designer Richard Devine. The participants will then take over Snake & Jake’s Christmas Club Barn (Friday)and the Silent Disco (Saturday) at night, where they will be performing alongside some very special guests.
