Marquis Gasque, Marquis Gasque, professionally known as Mighty Mark, is a platinum-certified producer, DJ, and cultural architect creating high-energy music and original creative experiences rooted in lived experience and community. Since emerging in 2007, he has built a multifaceted career spanning production, performance, executive creative work, and cultural development.

Born and raised in South Baltimore’s Cherry Hill community, Mighty Mark’s work is shaped by a deep understanding of how sound, movement, and environment intersect. His production style is bold and immersive—driven by heavy rhythms, textured low end, and an instinctive sense of energy that translates seamlessly from the studio to the stage. While his foundation is deeply connected to club culture, his creative range extends far beyond any single genre or format.

His catalog includes projects such as The Floor Is Ours, Mighty EP, Real EP, and the official soundtrack for Dark City Beneath The Beat, along with executive production on TT The Artist’s Art Royalty and Club Queen EPs. His work has received international radio play on platforms including Rinse FM, BBC Radio, and Radio One FM, reflecting a global reach that continues to grow.

Mighty Mark’s influence extends into the broader music industry, with his production on “Off the Chain” by TT The Artist and UNIIQU3 later sampled in Chlöe Bailey’s hit single “Have Mercy.” His music has also been featured across major film and television projects, including HBO’s Insecure, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Nappily Ever After.

As a performer, Mighty Mark brings the same intentional energy to live spaces. He currently serves as an official DJ for the Baltimore Orioles, translating club-driven momentum into large-scale, high-impact environments at Camden Yards. His debut Mighty Mark EP, released by French label Moveltraxx, helped establish his international presence early in his career.

In recognition of his artistic and cultural contributions, Mighty Mark has been featured by outlets including Complex, Vice, Vulture, FACT Magazine, Noisey, and The FADER. He was selected for the Red Bull Music Academy’s Bass Camp at Bonnaroo, collaborating with and learning from industry leaders such as Bun B, Rico Wade, and Richard Devine. In 2023, he received the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Award, further affirming his impact as a creator and innovator.
