There are certain moments that remind you just how special it is to do what you love. This weekend was one of those moments as I have the opportunity to be part of the Baltimore Orioles' Fan Appreciation Weekend at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
On September 19–20, the Orioles welcome fans for a weekend dedicated to celebrating the people who make Birdland what it is. From special giveaways and ceremonies to the energy throughout the ballpark, it's a great way to close out the home series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
I'm excited to be back at Camden Yards providing live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, helping bring the energy to the ballpark before the game and during the action. Whether it's setting the tone for fans arriving at the stadium or keeping the atmosphere going throughout the game, it's always a lot of fun being part of the experience.
Saturday brings plenty of memorable moments, including the Fan Choice T-Shirt giveaway, a special retirement ceremony honoring Trey Mancini, and astronaut Reid Wiseman throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Seeing the excitement from fans of all ages is a reminder of how much the Orioles mean to this city and its community.
Beyond this weekend, I'm taking a moment to appreciate just how grateful I am to be part of the Orioles organization this season.
Being the in-game DJ at Camden Yards is an incredible experience. It's a different kind of DJing. You're not just playing records and keeping a dance floor moving. You're helping create moments, build excitement, connect with thousands of people, and contribute to the overall experience of a live baseball game.
From player introductions and walk-up music to crowd interactions, sound effects, and all the little moments in between, there's a unique rhythm to what happens inside the ballpark. Having the opportunity to bring my own personality and musical background into that environment is something I don't take for granted.
As someone who has spent years building a career around music, creativity, and bringing people together, getting to do that at Camden Yards is special. Baltimore is home, and being able to contribute to an organization that means so much to this city makes the experience even more meaningful.
To everyone at the Orioles who welcomes me into the organization, trusts me with this role, and makes this season such a great experience, thank you. And to the fans who show up, bring the energy, and make Fan Appreciation Weekend what it is, this is for you.
What a season. What an experience. And what a privilege to be part of Birdland!
Thank you, Baltimore Orioles. Let's Go O's!
