From Baltimore to the World: Breaking Down My Track “Roll Call”

I’m excited to share my latest video from Class Is In Session with Spittcam University, where I break down one of my most iconic tracks: “Roll Call.” This video isn’t just about the beat — it’s a behind-the-scenes look at how the track came together, the culture behind it, and how it reached audiences around the world.

What makes “Roll Call” special is its journey from Baltimore’s club scene to international stages:

  • The track first gained global attention when it was featured in a Lucozade advertising campaign, pairing Baltimore Club energy with dancers and athletes in a commercial that reached audiences worldwide.

  • After that, “Roll Call” hit another milestone: it was featured in Fortnite, where players could buy the track’s emote and perform the signature Baltimore dances — from the Cherry Hill to Crazy Legs — bringing the city’s sound and movement to gamers across the globe. (WMAR2 News)

In the breakdown, I walk through:

  • The inspiration behind the track

  • How I crafted the beat, rhythm, and energy

  • What makes Baltimore Club music unique and why authenticity is key when a track reaches global audiences

For me, seeing “Roll Call” move from local dance floors to international ad campaigns and Fortnite is surreal — it’s proof of how Baltimore Club music resonates far beyond the city. As a DJ and producer, these moments remind me why it’s so important to stay true to the sound and energy that our community created.

Whether you’re a producer, DJ, or fan of high-energy music, this breakdown is a glimpse into how Baltimore Club works — from the studio to the world stage.

Mighty Mark Teams Up With Baltimore Orioles for White Marsh Rally

On January 24, I’ll be bringing the sound to the White Marsh Mall Rally as part of the Baltimore Orioles Birdland Caravan, rocking the crowd from 3–6 PM. This one’s FREE and open to the public, so there’s no excuse not to pull up.

When I step into events like this, my focus is always on controlling the energy — setting the tone, keeping the crowd engaged, and making sure the music matches the moment. A Birdland Caravan stop is all about excitement, Baltimore pride, and momentum, and I’m coming ready to deliver a soundtrack that keeps the space moving from start to finish.

DJing for a city-wide franchise like the Orioles is another reminder of how far the work can travel when you stay consistent and intentional. These are the moments where music, community, and culture collide, and I’m honored to be part of that experience.

If you’re an Orioles fan, a music lover, or just looking for a good vibe, come catch me at White Marsh Mall and experience it live.

Mighty Mark Lights Up the Under Armour Holiday Classic in Baltimore

I had an incredible time DJing the Under Armour Baltimore Holiday Classic at the Under Armour Brand House on the Baltimore Peninsula. The event was full of holiday spirit, music, and community energy, making it one of my favorite gigs of the season. (underarmourevents.com)

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Families, friends, and holiday shoppers came together to enjoy festive activities, giveaways, and a high-energy soundtrack to accompany their day. Guests could decorate cookies, customize hot chocolate, snap photos in holiday setups, and even receive exclusive gifts like UA holiday ornaments and Baltimore-themed totes with their purchases. The event also supported a toy and coat drive, letting the community give back while celebrating.

What made the day even more special was sharing the stage with RunItUp Jordan and MC Uncle Grandpa. Jordan’s artistry and Uncle Grandpa’s hype kept the crowd moving, dancing, and smiling throughout my set. Their energy, combined with the holiday festivities, helped create an interactive, communal vibe that brought the Under Armour Holiday Classic to life.

As a DJ, it’s always a highlight to see people of all ages connect through music and movement. Whether it was kids showing off their dance moves, families enjoying the atmosphere, or attendees grooving while shopping, the energy never dropped — and being part of that is why I love what I do.

Big thanks to Under Armour for putting together such an immersive holiday experience, to my collaborators RunItUp Jordan and MC Uncle Grandpa, and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. If you were there, you know the energy was fire — and if you missed it, check out the video recap to see what went down.

Stay tuned for more live sets, community events, and moments that bring Baltimore’s music, culture, and festive energy to life.

Over the past two years I have been working with videographer Maggie Rudisill, founder of SpitCam University, on multiple video projects for myself but this new thing we got going on is so much bigger. We shot our first episodes of Class Is In Session Dj Edition and the response has been amazing. I’m a huge fan of all the DJ videos on youtube of people djing in random spaces and really with great video and people just having fun and I’m so excited to bring something like that to our city and beyond with this new platform. Hopefully we can see DJs from around the world come to Baltimore and rock off on an edition of Class In Session. Below are the first 3 episodes.

Shout to to S.DOT, ANTI:MRGN , our second camera operator Deeq and all the extras that came thru.

New Year Old Me, Back To Blogging

When I first started my music production journey I used to have a pretty popular blog site where I shared some of my favorite tracks, thoughts and updates on shows, life etc. With the popularity of Instagram and Facebook I thought the blog would become obsolete but I’m getting back in my old ways. Documenting my journey on my site helps me leave a legacy and gives me a safe space to be vulnerable. Hope the true OG fans rock with me.

Since its a new year I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the thing I will be doing to help my self grow in my professional and personal lives

  1. Listening to understand and not to respond. Really take time to take in what someone is saying before just blurting out my idea on how to fix it( guess thats the producer in me)

  2. Letting the world hear your art. This is the year you are going to hear a lot of music from me, some finished ideas and some works in progress but yes the world going to get this work

  3. Knowing my value and valuing my art. These songs are valuable and they are one of one because only I can create them. If I don’t value the music why would anyone else

  4. Not letting a few bad apples jade my mindset. There are great people out in the world and great people in my city that get a bad rep. let see how we can connect and help each other

  5. F what people think. I’m a do me to the highest level and the audience that rocks with it is my audience.
