There is a crisis in urban communities and a great need for programs that engage and involve inner-city youth!  Recognizing that youth need positive outlets for expressing and sharing their artistic talents, ARTISTLAND Productions was created.

ARTISTLAND Productions was founded by TT THE ARTIST and is an on-going art, music, performance, and video production movement that involves working with the youth as well as partnering with non-profit organizations to keep the arts alive in the community.

"Presently, I am undergoing my first official documentary film entitled "DARK CITY: BENEATH THE BEAT." This film explores the lives of Baltimore's own thriving dance and music community. This film is not about the history or development of Baltimore Club music, although many of the characters play a major role in the evolution of club music. Starting out, I thought that taking on such a big topic as the evolution of club music would be way to much of a task to accomplish on my own. Instead, I have been building relationships with the community and voices of Baltimore that have shown that there is a budding cultural light shining in Baltimore despite the negative images and stereotypes of the city we are all but to familiar with.

A couple of weeks ago I posted pictures from TT the Artist's performance and now I am granting you exclusive access to the performance video. Now to the reason why I named this post The Effects of Bmore Club Music On An 18 And Over Audience". Some people in Baltimore believe that Bmore Club Music is only for kids which I think is totally inaccurate. Older crowds have different tastes when it comes to club music but it is insane to scrap club music altogether for the older markets. This video for TT The Artist at Sonar is just another jab at the "nay sayers" and the promoters not playing the music of their hometown lol.
