2 Must Read Articles On The State of Bmore Club!!!

Ryan Lyons wrote put together 2 amazing interviews with Murder Mark(myself lol) and Dj Benny Stixx for his site A Baltimore Love Thing. These articles help to give insite on the current state and the future of Bmore Club as you know it.

“Baltimore Club music’s sound is something that’s echoes the grit of the city. It’s raw, dirty, melodic, and unpredictable. Perhaps the speedy tempo of the sound mimics how fast a day in the city goes. Kids playing, police sirens, shoot-outs, church bells — it feels like all of that at once.”….Read The Rest Of The Articles Here

The Effects of Bmore Club Music On An 18 And Over Audience

A couple of weeks ago I posted pictures from TT the Artist's performance and now I am granting you exclusive access to the performance video. Now to the reason why I named this post The Effects of Bmore Club Music On An 18 And Over Audience". Some people in Baltimore believe that Bmore Club Music is only for kids which I think is totally inaccurate. Older crowds have different tastes when it comes to club music but it is insane to scrap club music altogether for the older markets. This video for TT The Artist at Sonar is just another jab at the "nay sayers" and the promoters not playing the music of their hometown lol.

Skarr Akbar-Jackpot(Directed by Wiz Productions and Dan Da Cameraman)

So I've been kinda out of the loop when it comes to what's going on in Bmore but this video grabbed my attention when co-director Dan Da Cameraman tagged me in a post via Facebook. For Dan's latest work he teamed up with another very talented and upcoming director Wiz to produce the image for "Jackpot", the newest single from one of Baltimore's most respected hip-hop artists Skarr Akbar. This is probably one of the best video productions I've seen from a D.M.V based producer in a while and this video only helps to shed light on how much potential these two directors have. This image brings the audio to life and isn't what you would expect for this type of song. I have heard numerous tracks from Akbar and this video makes me want to go take another listen to his entire catalog. Exactly what a music video should do in my eyes!!!
